What you will need:

Pressed leaves

To press leaves:

I placed the leaves in between pages of a drawing pad (any heavy book will do) and placed a weight on top. Let sit for a day or two and they will dry flat and be ready to use.

TIP: You could use craft feathers instead of leaves

To make the turkeys body. Paint the bottom of you little ones foot and press carefully on to the white card stock paper.

Tip: If you do it in the bath tub the cleanup is so much easier.

Once the foot print is dry cut out the foot print.

I cut two circles out the the same paper, as the foot print, to make “targets” for the leaves to be glued on. One larger than the other.

Apply Elmers glue liberally to the circle target and start placing leaves in a circular fashion. Repeat with the second circle.

Take the black card stock and apply liberally Elmers glue to the back of the larger circle and stick it on the paper.

Then take the smaller circle and liberally glue the back of it and place over the bigger circle as desired.

Take your pipe cleaner and cut a short piece off for the beak and bend it in a V. The rest of it is for the feet and bend 3 toes on each end of it.

With Elmers glue, glue the feet on to the card stock where you want them to go. Once they are where you want them apply a liberal amount of Elmers glue to the back of the foot print and place on top.

TIP: Place something heavy on top to help it dry flat (I used the sketch pad)
